To order zirconia discs, tell your supplier your milling machine model, the disc format your holder accepts, and the thickness, shade, and quantity you need.
That is enough to start a useful inquiry. Add a current disc label or holder photo if you are unsure of the format.
Confirm the Machine and Disc Format
Provide the full machine model and its supported disc format. If you already use 98 mm discs, state that in your inquiry.
If your ordering records use ZZ, AG, or another system-specific designation, include that alongside the machine model so the supplier can identify the matching option.
You do not need to measure the disc edge for the initial inquiry. If the format is unclear, send a label or photo and ask the supplier to help identify it.
Specify the Material You Want to Order
Once the format is clear, give the supplier these details:
- Product: the zirconia product or series you are considering.
- Thickness and shade: the options you want to order.
- Quantity: a sample request or the number of discs required.
- Delivery destination: where the order will be shipped.
If you have not selected a material, briefly describe the restorations you plan to produce and ask which products to evaluate. Review the proposed product's documented uses before deciding.
Changing Materials? Ask for Processing Guidance
For a new material, ask for the applicable milling and sintering instructions. Include your CAM software and furnace model if you need help with the setup.
The exocad Material Blank Library documentation includes material-specific scale or shrink entries where applicable. It is one example of why material settings deserve attention when changing products.
You do not need to gather every software setting before requesting a quote. Resolve the relevant processing questions before running the sample.
